COMPANY OVERVIEW
Our client is one of most prominent banks in Japan.

We're looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team. This role is perfect for someone with a strong accounting background, excellent Excel skills, and a keen eye for detail. You'll be a key part of our finance operations, with a focus on regulatory compliance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support day-to-day accounting, including financial statement preparation and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with MAS regulatory reporting, particularly MAS 610 and MAS 649.
• Use your advanced Excel skills for data analysis and financial modeling.
• Help with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Experience or interest in credit analysis and AML is a plus.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1-2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
• Experience with MAS regulatory reporting is required.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
