We are currently looking for a Scientist (Robotics related).
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct research on advanced algorithms, technologies, and tools; perform comparative evaluations and provide recommendations to support smart robotics and automation system development
Engage with stakeholders to gather detailed requirements, understand problem statements, constraints, and desired outcomes
Design and implement novel algorithms and software modules in areas such as autonomous manufacturing, intelligent human-centric automation, and reconfigurable robotic systems
Collaborate with the team to validate solutions through virtual modeling, simulations, physical prototyping, and demonstrator development
Analyze existing roadmaps, identify emerging research opportunities, and contribute to the development of new project or grant proposals
Prepare comprehensive technical documentation and deliver presentations to multidisciplinary audiences
Author scientific publications and contribute to intellectual property disclosures and technology documentation
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Ph.D. in AI, Computer Science, or Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Aerospace, Automation) with specialization in optimization, machine learning, robotics, autonomous systems, or cyber-physical systems
Minimum 2 years of R&D experience in a relevant technical domain
Strong foundation in computing, data science, and AI applications for robotics, autonomous systems, or industry-relevant challenges
Proficient in Python and C/C++ for developing algorithms in data analysis, optimization, and machine learning
Proven track record of publications in top-tier journals/conferences and/or patents
Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, technical documentation, and presentation skills
Hands-on experience with Generative AI and Reinforcement Learning is a strong advantage
Familiarity with systems-level modeling and simulation tools (e.g., Simulink) is a plus
Industry project experience, either pre- or post-Ph.D., is highly desirable
