Position: Firmware Tester

Location: Banbueng, Chonburi.

Salary: 40,000-43,000 Baht / mth

Responsibilities

• Testing and Validation:
  • Verify machine operation aligns with specific documentation and requirements.
  • Perform simulation and scenario testing on both test boxes and actual machines.
  • Conduct final validation testing before design freezes and releases.
• Documentation and Reporting:
  • Accurately document all test activities, including steps, time, methods, and materials.
  • Identify and document inconsistencies in issue tracking systems (e.g., YouTrack, GitHub).
  • Log the progress of control and machine verification.
  • Maintain accurate reports of all testing.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Clearly communicate with firmware developers and other software evaluators to ensure issues are identified and corrected.
  • Organize and assist with lab machine updates.
  • Develop flowcharts, diagrams, how-to guides, and other visual aids for engineering programs.
• System Improvement and Support:
  • Provide design, support, and testing for engineering program software.
  • Recommend upgrades for existing systems and programs.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience:

   

  Bachelor's 

  degree or equivalent is required.

  • Experience with issue tracking systems (e.g., YouTrack, GitHub) is a plus.

• Skills & Abilities:

   

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex problems using non-technical terms.

  • Good command of English.
