Randstad, partnered with a leading global financial services group, is seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Technical Business Analyst to support the development team, specifically working alongside our Java Developers to build and maintain our new generation equity finance trading platform. This role serves as the critical bridge between our internal business users and the technical development team.
■ Key Responsibilities
・ Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between the development team and internal business users (Front Office, Middle Office, etc.), facilitating clear and effective communication.
・Requirement Gathering & Documentation: Accurately capture business needs and translate them into detailed, high-quality requirement definition documents (要件定義書) and functional specifications.
・Data Analysis & Troubleshooting: Perform data extraction and deep-dive data analysis.
Utilize SQL to query databases, understand complex data structures, and identify/troubleshoot data anomalies or discrepancies.
・Project Support: Work closely with the incoming Java Developer, providing necessary analytical support and ensuring technical solutions align with business requirements. Ensure a smooth knowledge transfer from the retiring senior member.

■ Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge
➢ Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency in both English and Japanese (Business Level). Must be able to fluently communicate complex technical and business concepts in both languages.
➢ Technical Background: Strong foundational understanding of technology and software development lifecycles.
➢ Data/Database Skills: Solid proficiency in SQL. Must be highly capable of extracting data, running analytical queries, and diagnosing data quality issues independently.
➢ Documentation: Proven track record of creating robust technical and business documentation, particularly requirement definitions.
➢ Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for identifying the root cause of data or process anomalies.
Desirable but non-essential attributes:
● Coding Experience: Prior hands-on coding or software development experience is highly
advantageous.
● Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with Prime Brokerage, Equity Finance, or general financial markets.
