Job Description
Company and Job Overview
Our client specializes in the manufacture of electronic components and related products. They are looking for a Production Manager to oversee and optimize the manufacturing process.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate with the production planner to ensure efficient use of materials, manpower, and equipment
- Monitor production output and take corrective actions when performance targets are not met
- Lead and manage the production team, including shift scheduling and resolving staffing issues
- Ensure quality control by adhering to standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949
- Collaborate with QA teams to address non-conformities and implement quality improvements
- Focus on cost and resource management by minimizing waste, optimizing resource usage, and maintaining records for budgeting and forecasting
- Support continuous improvement in production efficiency, team performance, and product quality
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in production or manufacturing
- Proficient in production planning, team supervision, and resource management
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 requirements
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
