Responsibilities:

• Interpret and adapt global purchasing policies to align with business needs
• Develop sourcing strategies and lead supplier selection and negotiation
• Collaborate with internal teams on budgeting and sourcing direction
• Oversee full-cycle transactions with selected suppliers, including invoicing
• Monitor and address supplier performance issues across quality, service, and cost
• Manage, train, and support purchasing staff while ensuring cost-saving targets are met

Requirements:

• Experience in indirect purchasing
• Prior experience managing commercial issues with suppliers and assessing supplier performance
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Strong negotiation skills
• Proficient in written and spoken Japanese and English
