Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department
- Develop and implement procedures to enhance departmental workflow
- Oversee financial reporting, general ledger, and month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reports and support budgeting, forecasting, and project tracking.
- Lead audit preparation and ensure compliance with financial reporting deadlines.
- Handle special projects, system improvements, and cash flow forecasting.
- Monitor updates and implementation of accounting standards (IFRS/TFRS).
- Provide ad-hoc support as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in accounting, with a background in financial reporting and budgeting
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger structures, and financial systems
Experience in managing audits and implementing financial controls
Familiarity with IFRS/TFRS standards
Proven ability to supervise teams and meet strict deadlines
Good command of English, both written and spoken
