COMPANY OVERVIEW
Our client is the leading independent feeder carrier globally. With a fleet exceeding 100 vessels, the company offers dependable and economical feeder services to support worldwide shipping operations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Profit and Loss Management: Full responsibility for overseeing profit and loss, improving cost efficiency, and optimizing yield.
- Ship Selection: Choose ships with optimal intake, speed, and bunker consumption, and monitor daily bunker consumption.
- Port Operations: Secure port call berth windows, negotiate terminal contracts, and manage indirect costs.
- Claims Handling: Address cargo, container, and vessel damage claims in collaboration with the legal team.
- Market Analysis: Analyze market demand and supply, strategize trade routes, and understand competitor activities.
- Service Expansion: Increase sailing frequency and service coverage through deployment or slot swaps.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in maritime business or business management.
- At least 7 years of experience in shipping line trade.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinking and quick decision-making abilities.
- Strong analytical skills for assessing situations, systems, and problems.
- Proven leadership capabilities.
