Job Description
- Design and Analysis:
Develop structural designs for various projects, including buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure, ensuring they can withstand loads and stresses.
- CAD and Software:
Utilize computer-aided design software and structural analysis tools to create blueprints, models, and technical drawings.
- Technical Drawings:
Prepare detailed drawings and specifications for construction, ensuring they meet project requirements and standards.
- Material Selection:
Determine appropriate materials for structural elements, considering factors like cost, durability, and safety.
- Collaboration:
Work with engineers, architects, and contractors to develop designs and address project-specific challenges.
- Site Visits and Inspections:
Conduct site visits to inspect structures and ensure designs are implemented correctly, and to address potential issues.
- Budget and Schedule:
Support project management tasks, including budget planning and scheduling.
- Problem Solving:
Identify and resolve structural issues and concerns, providing technical guidance throughout the project.
- Compliance:Ensure that designs meet relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
