Lead and optimize end-to-end manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate closely with design, quality, and production teams to ensure smooth production flow and timely product delivery.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and other methodologies to eliminate waste and enhance productivity.
Analyze and troubleshoot production issues through root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
Evaluate and upgrade manufacturing systems, equipment, and workflow for enhanced output and reduced downtime.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including SOPs, process flow charts, and work instructions.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and technical excellence.
Coordinate with suppliers on material quality and resolve supply-related production issues.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and internal quality protocols.
Stay updated with industry trends and manufacturing technologies for continuous process improvement.
Job Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, or Industrial Engineering (or related disciplines).
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in materials, ceramics, or electronics sectors.
Strong technical knowledge in manufacturing processes such as machining, assembly, and quality inspection.
Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar improvement frameworks.
Familiar with production planning tools, ERP/MRP systems, and statistical analysis software.
Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Project management experience and ability to handle multiple improvement projects concurrently.
Added advantage: Background in composite materials or paint-related manufacturing processes.
