Job Description
A rapidly growing company in Batu Kawan is looking for Senior AP Manager to be part of their team. You will be a key part of helping the business to supervise functional financial accounting activities mainly on Accounts Payable
Main responsibilities of the Senior AP manager role
Oversee functional financial accounting tasks, primarily focusing on Accounts Payable, which involves reviewing journal entries and preparing reports.
Handle inquiries regarding vendor invoicing and payments from both internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure the implementation of effective internal controls and compliance with GAAP, as well as relevant international and local financial and tax regulations.
Ensure adherence to SOX compliance standards by maintaining updated documentation, providing recommendations, and fulfilling internal control requirements.
Degree in Finance or Accounting and possess qualifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA), or Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
Familiar with US GAAP, IFRS, and local accounting standards.
Consistent demonstration of a customer-centric approach toward both internal and external stakeholders, including during Audit/Statutory engagements.
