Our client, MNC Manufacturing Based Company in Johor, looking for suitable candidates 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Analyse the workplace, assess risks and make recommendations for preventive measures to maximize workplace safety. 

• Ensure all environmental, safety and health (EHS) procedures and reporting comply to local regulations such as Department of Safety and Health (DOSH), Department of Environment (DOE), Ministry of Health and BOMBA. 

• Continuously raise awareness about Quality, HSE policies & procedures through monitoring, meetings and trainings. 

• Organise and lead the safety & health committee. Conduct and Manage for Emergency Response Team, Bomba Training and Fire Drill. 

• Manage, lead, and resolve non-conformances through root cause analysis Promptly analyse and investigate causes of employee accidents, illness, environmental incidents or other events, prepare detailed reports including recommendations for future avoidance, internally for stakeholders and/or to authorities 

• Be the focal point for the implementation of ISO 9001,14001 and 45001 

• Lead the safety and health committee, run site security and contractor safety (training, monitoring & safety pass). 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Min. 5 years in responsible position for QHSE and/or regulatory affairs. 

• Certificate, diploma or degree in relevant higher education (safety, health, environment etc.). 

• Ideally exposure to heavy industries (mining, quarry, precast, construction, steel fabrication, metalworking, casting, petrochemical or hazardous materials). 

• Exposure to heavy and/or dangerous loads, materials handling and equipment. 

• Highest level of attention, discipline and responsibility, proactive. 

• Self starter who knows what needs to be done to be compliant and takes action accordingly 

• High levels of Bahasa and English (spoken and written), comfortable across Microsoft Suite of tools 

• DOSH Certified OSH Coordinator 

• CePSWaM - Certified Environmental Professional for schedule waste 

• CePBFO - Certified Environmental Professional in Bag Filter o IRCA ISO 9001 Lead Auditor
