Job Description

The Position

To achieve its ambitions, ElectroRoute Japan is currently recruiting for an Office Coordinator to join our Tokyo based team. We are looking for a creative and motivated candidate who will play a critical role in various office management activities to support company growth.

The Role

The role of Office Coordinator will include:

  • Managing the office to ensure a productive, efficient and organized work environment.
  • Supporting members with scheduling, billing processing, and general administrative tasks.
  • Assisting in organizing internal meetings, team-building activities, and company events.
  • Coordinating with vendors and external service providers for facilities management and office supplies.
  • Document preparation and management.

General Requirements

Minimum Experience Level Over 3 years
Career Level Mid Career
Minimum English Level Business Level (Amount Used: English usage about 50%)
Minimum Japanese Level Native
Minimum Education Level Bachelor's Degree
Visa Status Permission to work in Japan required

Required Skills

Role Requirements

  • Prior experience (3+ years preferred) in office management or office coordination preferably in an international/startup company.
  • Fluency in both Japanese (native level) and English (business level, TOEIC score of 800 or above) is essential.  
  • Ability to drive initiatives and involve employees (about 50 employees) in office-related matters.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage various administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle detailed and routine administrative work with consistency and care.
  • Experience in rolling out BCP or having a health supervisor license is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

In addition, the following would be an advantage:

  • Precious experience in an international start-up company
