Job Description

Eligibility

  • Experience in IVI HMI development, ECU software development, testing etc. in the automotive industry.
  • Understanding of Japanese and English (required)
  • Ability to understand Japanese, interpret it and communicate it to the delivery team.
  • Must have Japanese language proficiency equivalent to N3-N2 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, be fluent in conversational Japanese, and be able to read and write Japanese.
  • On-site and offshore development experience
  • Development experience in programming languages such as Python, C#, C, CAPL, etc.
  • Experience in using CANalyzer, CANoe and Vector Test System.
  • Ability to understand HW circuit diagrams, system design documents, SW design/specification/architecture documents in Japanese.
  • Experience in testing ECU software requirements with any test suite (self-developed or licensed software).
  • Ability to work on multiple projects, collaborate effectively with multiple teams, and adapt flexibly to changing requirements.
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools such as GIT, GitLab, and SVN
  • Ability to quickly grasp customer software design, specifications and source code analysis, and lead offshore team in development and testing.
  • Ability to act as a consultant to identify business opportunities within customer software groups.
  • Experience in understanding, troubleshooting ECU software issues, CAN/Ethernet data logs, analyzing, debugging and fixing software issues in traditional ECU software environment and VT system environment.
  • Opportunities to collaborate with customers to deploy multiple solutions within and across SLs, creating stronger value propositions for customers.
  • Design and monitor project performance dashboards/reports with clients on a regular basis.
  • Excellent analytical and debugging skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills

Japanese language ability: Japanese business level (N2), English business level (required

  • Experience in automotive domain in areas like IVI HMI development, ECU software development and testing.
  • Good understanding of Japanese and English language (must)
  • Should be able to understand the Japanese , interpret it and communicate to delivery team
  • Fluent in Japanese with N3 ~ N2 JLPT proficient, proficient in Japanese conversations, good read/write Japanese capability.
  • Experience in working on onsite-offshore development model.
  • Experience working on programming languages like Python, C#, C, CAPL
  • Experience in working with CANalyzer, CANoe and Vector Test System.
