POSITION SUMMARY
This position focuses on integrating advanced technologies into modern semiconductor integration, particularly in process development for memory, storage, logic, and power devices.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in semiconductor device physics, including dopant activation and crystal structure modification, and experience working in interdisciplinary teams managing multiple projects simultaneously.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Technology Development & Process Integration:
Develop and optimize processes for modern semiconductor technologies.
Design, collect data, analyze, and compile reports on difficult process engineering experiments
Perform hardware characterization on a variety of difficult systems
Troubleshoot complex problems, perform Root Cause Analysis, and resolve a variety of difficult process engineering issues
Work closely with customer process integration teams to enhance device performance and yield.
Project & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Lead and manage multiple technology development projects.
Collaborate with customer process engineers, equipment engineers, and management to ensure successful technology integration according to customer priorities.
Conceive and promote hardware and software CIPs to improve platform competitiveness
Customer & Consortium Engagement:
Engage with customers to provide technical presentations and light technical sales support.
Arrange, coordinate, and manage technical demos.
Represent the company in industry consortium activities and contribute to collaborative research efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Applied Physics, or a related field.
Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics, including dopant activation, crystal modification, and material interactions with laser energy.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work in multidisciplinary teams.
Experience customer presentations and technology demonstrations to varied audiences
Bonus: Experience with optics or photolithography.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Optics & Photolithography (Preferred):
Knowledge of optics or photolithography as it relates to laser processing is a strong plus.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Willingness to travel internationally, including to France and Japan, for customer meetings, technical collaborations, and industry events.
