【Job Description】

You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the front-end of the web service for the digital book sales platform "ebookjapan".
The development environment utilizes Vue.js and Node.js, and all work is conducted in-house for a 100% company-owned service.
The scope of work is broad, and depending on your preferences, you may be involved in various planning stages such as:
problem identification, proposals, specification review, requirements definition, design, development, release, and operations.

■Responsibilities
・Front-end development for ebookjapan's web services
・Improvement and maintenance of CI environment used for web applications
・Front-end code review and code quality assurance on GitHub
・Collaboration and communication with planning team and multiple departments
・Response to defects when they occur

■Development environment (language, architecture, development method, tools used, etc.)
・Language : HTML/CSS/JavaScript
・Libraries, packages : Node.js/ TypeScript/Vue.js/ Nuxt.js/ Pinia/ Jest/ express.js/ Scss/ Playwright
・Tools : GitHub Enterprise/Screwdriver.cd/Jira/Confluence/Slack
・Development terminal : Arranged based on internal rules after confirming desired specs before joining / External monitors and verification terminals are lent

【Required】
・3+ years of experience in web front-end development
・3+ years of experience developing with either Vue.js or React
・3+ years of experience developing with either Next.js or Nuxt.js
・Experience in developing web APIs
・Experience developing with TypeScript
・Experience using Docker for development
・Experience writing test code with Jest or Vitest
・Experience with source code management using Git/GitHub

【Preferred】
・Experience using Redis as a cache server
・Experience improving site performance using Core Web Vitals or similar metrics
・Experience using Kubernetes
・Experience developing with layered architecture
・Experience writing test code with Playwright
