Job Description

A global tech leader in audio, visual, and communications seeks a qualified lawyer to join its compact legal team as Legal Manager, handling international contracts and cross-border litigation in a hybrid, work-life balanced setting.

  • Review and analyze contracts in both Japanese and English to ensure legal accuracy and alignment with company policies

  • Provide legal advice and consultation to internal departments on a wide range of business matters

  • Support contract negotiations by identifying legal risks and proposing solutions

  • Draft and revise standard contract templates to reflect current legal and business requirements

Minimum Education Level Bachelor's Degree
Visa Status Permission to work in Japan required

Required Skills

  • Legal experience in a manufacturing environment, with hands-on involvement in international trade contracts

  • Qualified as a foreign lawyer or Japanese bengoshi

  • English proficiency with TOEIC score of 600 or above

  • Experience in managing overseas litigation preferred

  • Experience in advising on English contract drafting preferred
