Job Description
Position: Cost Engineer
Salary: 35,000 – 50,000 THB/Month
Location: Sukhumvit, Bangkok
Responsibilities:
- A Cost Estimator analyses data to estimate the time, money, materials, and labor required to provide a service. Cost Estimators collect and analyze data in order to assess the likely cost of a potential project or service for tender.
- Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues
- Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors
- Conduct special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data
- Review material and labor requirements to determine whether it is more cost-effective to produce or purchase components
- Cost tracking to ensure project execution is within the estimated budget
- Assess cost-effectiveness of products, projects, or services
- Assist compiling commercial proposal
Qualifications:
- Male/Female
- At least 2 years of experience in cost estimation or related field
- Proficiency in cost estimation software and spreadsheet applications
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
