Position: Manager – Technical Services

Location: Delhi

Report to: DGM / GM - MISD

Company: Japanese trading industry

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Understand Customer requirements and suggest similar grade from our company to counter existing competitor’s material used by the Customer.
2. Provide suggestion for any changes in formulation / process in order to make smooth transition to parent company product.
3. Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers.
4. Should work in tandem with Sales Team.
5. Should maintain good relationship with all customers/ distributors & keep on explaining about newly developed products/applications.
6. Prepare Customer visit plan and timely submit reports and action items to concern and follow PDCA.
7. Drive organizational new technologies/solutions and identify adaptability to Indian market
8. Should strictly follow company and Customer Compliances.
9. Handling trials and provide prompt and accurate feedback to customer.
10. Keep contact with existing customers, find new customer, visiting Trade fair/technical symposium/exhibitions or relevant gatherings.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Graduate: BE/ B-Tech (Polymer Science/ Rubber Technology/ Chemical Engineering) from reputed institute. (Relevant Coursework with Practical Experience)
2. Should have in-depth understanding of various products used in applications like Flexible Packaging, Engineering Plastics, Plastic and Metal Bond Adhesive Resins, TPV, EPDM Profiles, Moulding Components etc. their processing techniques with wide range of troubleshooting in wide range of situations.
3. Around 8 -10 years of Experience in Technical Support to customers in below mentioned applications or Shop-Floor experience from relevant industry like Photovoltaic encapsulants, Shoe sole, Flexible-Rigid Packaging, TPE material compounding will be the priority.
4. Should have detail scientific understanding of Polyolefin elastomer, olefinic adhesive polymer, EPDM, TPE materials as a preference.
5. Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.
