Company Overview
Our client a well-established leader and A1 main contractor in the civil engineering and construction industry, known for delivering high-quality projects across infrastructure, building, and specialized engineering sectors. As they continue to drive growth and expansion, they are now seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage projects from planning through to completion, ensuring all objectives are met on time and within budget.
- Coordinate and liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and effective project execution.
- Develop detailed project schedules, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Oversee quality control, health, and safety standards on-site to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and project staff.
- Prepare and present reports on project progress, costs, and scheduling to stakeholders.
- Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in project management within the construction or civil engineering industry.
- Proven track record in managing complex projects with successful outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
