The Domestic Grants Section provides comprehensive support for both pre-award and post-award processes related to domestic external research funding, ensuring proper fund management and compliance with national regulations governing public research expenditures. The team actively gathers, analyzes, and disseminates grant information to faculty, researchers, students, and the leadership team, thereby enabling timely and strategic decision-making across the institution. To strengthen OIST’s competitiveness in securing large-scale grants, the Dean of Research leads a dedicated support team that coordinates institution-wide project planning, identifies relevant funding opportunities, recommends appropriate research themes, and proposes suitable principal investigators. These coordinated efforts, along with the implementation of performance-based incentive systems, aim to sustainably increase OIST’s third-party research income. Progress is monitored using key performance indicators, including both the number and the total value of awarded grants.

国内外部研究資金セクションは、国内の外部研究資金に関する申請前および採択後の手続き全体をサポートし、公的研究費の適切な管理と国の規制への準拠を確保しています。また、教職員・研究者・学生・大学の幹部に向けて、助成金情報を収集・分析・共有し、タイミングの良い戦略的な意思決定を支援しています。
OISTが大規模な助成金を獲得する競争力を高めるために、研究担当ディーンがリーダーとなり、全学的なプロジェクト計画を調整する専門チームを構成しています。このチームは関連する資金の公募を探し出し、適切な研究テーマを提案し、ふさわしい研究代表者(PI)を推薦します。こうした組織的な取り組みと成果に応じたインセンティブ制度の導入により、OISTの外部研究資金の安定的な増加を目指しています。進捗は、採択された助成金の件数および総額といった主要な指標で評価されます。
