No Japanese Required Product Development Engineer

The Product Development Engineer will be responsible for the development, improvement, updating, and maintenance of the front-end using Map+BI.

The successful candidate will first be involved in supporting front-end development using Map+BI, and then gradually expand the scope of his/her work.

Job Description:

・Front-end development of products

・UI/UX design with emphasis on user experience

・Development of various data visualization modules and assets

・Promotion of project development in collaboration with designers, back-end engineers, data engineers, and consultants

Required skills:

・Experience in front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript

・Experience using frameworks such as React, Vue.js, Angular, Fast API

・Experience in server-side development (Python, JAVA / PostgreDB, Mysql) Team development experience

・Understanding of Web API design and implementation experience

・Understanding of UI/UX design, experience with figma

・Ability to work in Japanese or English (fluent in either)

・Building documentation for project promotion

Required technical skills:

HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, FastAPI, Python, JAVA, PostgreSQL, AWS

Preferred skills:

・Development experience with MapLibre

・Knowledge of web performance optimization

・Basic knowledge of server-side development, API development experience

・Understanding of UI/UX design, experience using figma
