PR/117072 | Data Governance Manager

We are looking for a dedicated Data Governance Manager to create and manage our data governance framework for our client.

Responsibilities:

• Create and implement a comprehensive data governance framework, including standards and policies to manage and secure data effectively.

• Define and maintain data quality measures by setting validation criteria and leading initiatives to enhance data accuracy.

• Oversee compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., PDPA) and collaborate with legal and risk teams to manage data governance risks.

• Partner with business and IT teams to understand data needs, drive governance adoption, and build strong data ownership practices.

• Lead training and awareness programs to educate teams on data governance principles and ensure widespread adoption across the company.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years in related roles with a strong grasp of data governance frameworks.

• Strong knowledge of privacy laws (e.g., PDPA) and compliance practices.

• Familiarity with data quality tools; Alation experience is a plus.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Expertise in building governance policies, standards, and best practices.
