Our client is a well-established trading company involved in import, export and domestic businesses with a diverse range of products, including automotive and non-automotive items, plastics and chemicals, machinery, metals and investment holdings. In line with their business expansion, they are looking for a Business Development (Fuel) to join their Business Innovation Department at their HQ in Kuala Lumpur.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct market research to identify customer needs and trends in the fuel sector
Lead and manage fuel-related projects, coordinate with teams and partners for seamless execution
Liaise between departments, stakeholders, and partners, ensuring timely delivery and quality control
Assist with energy audits and surveys, ensure compliance with sustainability and energy regulations
Ensure compliance with Malaysia’s energy regulations and international standards
Manage licensing applications and regulatory approvals
Stay updated with industry trends and sustainable practices
Reporting and documentation
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field
Possessing Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a significant advantage
Minimum 3 years of experience working in the fuel industry, with a proven track record in business development or project management
Experience in managing projects and driving business growth, with a solid understanding of project lifecycle management
Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate with internal teams, clients and industry stakeholders
Good understanding of energy management, sustainability and compliance requirements
Possess a valid driving license and willingness to travel both locally and internationally
