Company and Job Overview 
A leading company in the advanced manufacturing industry is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee operations in its Surface Treatment Division. This role is responsible for managing all aspects of surface preparation, cleaning, polishing, anodizing, passivation, and finishing while ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality compliance. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and experience managing large-scale or multi-project environments to drive operational success.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance.

• Manage project scheduling, workforce allocation, equipment, and materials.

• Provide technical direction and troubleshooting for surface treatment processes.

• Monitor performance and budget adherence, making necessary adjustments.

• Conduct site inspections to uphold quality and safety standards.

• Lead, mentor, and manage foremen, technicians, and labor teams.

• Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, engineers, suppliers, and contractors.

• Ensure equipment readiness and proper maintenance for uninterrupted operations.

• Implement continuous improvement initiatives and industry best practices.

• Prepare reports on productivity, costs, incidents, and key metrics.
   

Key Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemical, or a related field (preferred).

• 5–10 years of experience in surface treatment, coating, or related operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.

• Expertise in surface treatment techniques (e.g., sandblasting, polishing, anodizing, passivation, finishing).

• Strong ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Proven leadership and team management skills with a focus on safety and quality.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in project management tools, MS Office Suite, and reporting system.
