Job Description
A US based CNC manufacturing facility in Penang is looking for Buyer as part of their expanding team.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors.
Evaluates vendor quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers
Work with production, scheduling, sales, and design teams to determine the most optimal purchasing strategy for a given job/project.
Monitor purchase demand and place orders, ensuring order confirmation and report to the organization any due date problems or potential shortages
Job Requirements
At least 3 years of direct buyer/purchasing work experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
Strong in Excel application
