Responsibilities
Oversees all engineering activities in semiconductor component assembly equipment and process engineering of product manufacturing area
Plans and directs implementation of equipment and process modifications to improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques and production yields for existing products.
Acts as engineering liaison with product design and development to ensure processes and designs are compatible.
Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Ensure the production equipment is in control and quality/reliability of product meets expectation
Sustain and improve the key performance indices of the equipment through continuous improvement activities/projects
Reduce cost through continuous cost reduction effort
Requirements
Min Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 20 years of experience in a manufacturing equipment and process engineering role
Demonstrated experience in improving production efficiencies and successfully implementing process modifications.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate a team to achieve ambitious goals
Outstanding problem-solving abilities and experience in planning and directing process modifications
Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
This role is based in India.
