Responsibilities

• Oversees all engineering activities in semiconductor component assembly equipment and process engineering of product manufacturing area 

• Plans and directs implementation of equipment and process modifications to improve production efficiencies, manufacturing techniques and production yields for existing products. 

• Acts as engineering liaison with product design and development to ensure processes and designs are compatible. 

• Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

• Ensure the production equipment is in control and quality/reliability of product meets expectation

• Sustain and improve the key performance indices of the equipment through continuous improvement activities/projects

• Reduce cost through continuous cost reduction effort

   

Requirements

• Min Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field

• Minimum of 20 years of experience in a manufacturing equipment and process engineering role

• Demonstrated experience in improving production efficiencies and successfully implementing process modifications.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate a team to achieve ambitious goals

• Outstanding problem-solving abilities and experience in planning and directing process modifications

• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

• This role is based in India.
