Job Description
- Review customer product design and able to propose DFM.
- Manage new product manufacture process, RFQ, and tooling design activities to ensure proper new start-up compliance to customer requirement.
- Establish Bill of Material (BOM) into ERP system for new product as well as BOM update when there is ECN.
- Capable to handle tooling problem, troubleshooting and tooling improvement and problem defining.
- Responsible for preparing product testing, mass production drawings, and packing instructions.
- Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, plan, schedule changes and recommending actions.
- Work with Engineering & Production team, QA, and SCM for any new project issue and propose corrective & preventive action with total documentation to ensure achieving targets and timeline.
- Liaise with customers for any technical issues during new product development.
- Ensure RBA and Supplier Code of Conducts requirements are being met.
- Possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical) or Engineering (Mechatronic) or equivalent.
- Knowledge in software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Designing.
- At least 2-3 year(s) of working experience in part design, tool design.
- Able to comprehend and interpret part / tooling drawings and technical instructions.
- Knowledge in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485 and IATF 16949.
