PR/158795 | EQUIPMENT MANAGER (PLC)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Equipment life cycle management

• Develop maintenance strategies for factory equipment and electrical systems, including preventive maintenance (PM) plans and annual overhaul plans for key equipment

• Lead the inspection of safety hazards in high-voltage electrical systems 

• Spare parts management and cost control

• Based on equipment operation data (such as PLC fault code statistics), the life cycle of wearing parts (such as motor bearings and belts) is predicted, and a safety inventory model (such as the ABC classification method) is developed 

• Design a training system for production line team leaders (such as equipment inspection and lubrication and maintenance SOPs), organize practical assessments every quarter to ensure autonomous maintenance execution by the team, establish a maintenance team skill matrix (such as inverter commissioning, mechanical transmission maintenance), 

   

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Educational background: Bachelor degree or above, major in mechanical engineering, electrical automation, familiar with ISO 13849 machinery safety standards

• Experience requirements: More than 8 years of experience in equipment management in the automotive parts industry, has led the operation and maintenance of ≥2 automated production lines, and is familiar with local equipment in Malaysia.

• Skills: Master TPM management tools and CMMS systems
