Foreign company is looking for Process Improvement Engineer to support and lead initiatives related to Smart Factory project. This role involves analyzing current processes, identifying opportunities for improvements, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Job Responsibilities
Smart Factory Implementation:
Lead and support projects aimed at transforming current manufacturing processes into smart, data-driven operations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IoT, AI, and other Industry 4.0 technologies into our production systems.
Design and implement automation solutions to streamline factory processes.
Process Analysis and Improvement:
Conduct thorough analysis of current manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for cost reduction.
Develop and implement strategies for process optimization, utilizing lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
Create and maintain detailed process documentation and standard operating procedures (SOP).
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Use data analytics tools to monitor, analyze, and report on key operational metrics and production performance.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data across all manufacturing processes.
Generate insights and actionable recommendations from data to drive operational improvements.
Collaborate with Smart Factory team to enhance data integration and accessibility, supporting data-driven decision-making.
Create and maintain dashboards from database for data visualization and monitoring, using Python, SQL, or similar.
Present findings and progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement:
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging innovative thinking and proactive problem-solving among team members.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in industrial engineering and smart manufacturing technologies.
Provide training and support to staff on new processes and technologies.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree or above, preferred in Industrial Engineering, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, or a similar field.
Proficiency in PC, Excel, Power Point, Statistics & Analysis.
Programming skills: Python, SQL, or similar.
Experienced in data field, data science certification is a plus.
Leadership: Both Independent work & teamwork skills, Positive mindset, Team building.
TOEIC 605 or above. Communication Ability, Negotiation Ability, Presentation, Analysis skills.
