Job Location: Bidadi

• Responsible for ensuring compliance with automotive material regulations, including SOC (Substance of Concern), VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds), IMDS (International Material Data System), ELV ( End of Life Vehicles), & ERP (Extended Producer Responsibility), GADSL, EU, IEC, & other global regulations.

• Coordinating with internal teams, suppliers, & regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to environment & sustainability guidelines while supporting product development & certification processes.

Sub Role: Responsible for Automotive seating development evaluation and homologation evaluations in India. 

• Regulatory knowledge- Strong understanding of IMDS, ELV, SOC, and ERP compliance for the Indian automotive industry.

• IMDS reporting & data management – Expertise in creating, validating, and submitting material data sheets in the IMDS system.

• Material compliance – knowledge of restricted substances & hazardous materials as per the global automotive standards (REACH, RoHS, GADSL).

• Supplier coordination – Ability to collaborate with suppliers for the material declarations & compliance documentation.

Documentation & Audits – Expertise in preparing compliance reports, supporting audits, & handling customer queries related to material compliance.
