Job Description

Scala KK Japan, a member of Scala Asia Pacific and the Stratacache group USA, provides leading digital signage and other marketing technology solutions in Japan. You will have the unique opportunity to introduce the latest knowledge in digital technologies in marketing to your channel partners and end-user customers.  

Channel Sales Manager will be responsible for efforts to manage sales pipelines to achieve revenue targets, to grow and execute sales strategy in business development.  You will be a crucial member to our Japan sales team that deliver on projected annual growth opportunity.

Our Channel Sales Manager needs to be an all-round business leader who can negotiate and build relationships with decision makers such as CEO, CMO, and CFO and working team members in channel system Integrators and resellers.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Create, own and manage your pipelines in our CRM system.
  • Manage accurate forecasting in sales revenues.
  • Drive demand creation and business development to generate and achieve sales revenues.
  • Be responsible for annual revenue growth of our products and services.
  • Working closely with channel partners on Scala solutions for end-user customers to achieve revenue targets.
  • Using account management skills to deliver and convince partners and customers to deploy Scala solutions, using latest user cases/white papers in various target industries.
  • Taking internal leadership to co-ordinate with other functional teams within Japan and APAC for customer service deliveries of customer service, training and education.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 10+ years of experience in the enterprise business, proven experience in sales, channel sales or business development in marketing technology, IT, AV or advertising delivery system.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Experience in business development and be a hunter in recruiting channel partners and new business.
  • Good communication skills in English, email and online conferencing call.
  • Able to work with CRM such as Salesforce or similar platform to manage own pipelines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Be a self-starter and able to work with the least supervision.
  • Critical and logical thinking.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Solid business development experience in channel sales business.
