業務内容
ビジネスディブロップメント 担当シニア・ディレクター/日本ゼネラル・マネージャーの直属となります。

• 当社のビジネスモデルの更なる開発のため、関係当局である経済産業省・国土交通省・環境省・JOGMEC・NEDO 等が関わる既存の法規制、または将来に導入を予定する政策・補助金・インセンティブプログラム等をモニタリングし、また分析する。
• タイムリーかつ効率的に関連情報入手にアクセスするため、省庁・政府機関・自治体等の担当者・窓口と良好な関係を構築・維持・発展し、必要に応じては、当該関係性をレバレッジし、ハイレベルな会合のファシリテーションを実施する。
• 会社のビジネスバリューチェーンにおける各セグメントに関連する政策・補助金・インセンティブプログラム等の動向や詳細について、会社の戦略や事業計画との整合性に焦点を当てながら、経営陣やチームに対し包括的な報告書やプレゼンテーションを都度作成し、報告する。
• 社内外の専門家と協力し、適切な中長期的な事業環境の前提を確認・設定し、ビジネスモデルに組み込み、シナリオ分析等を実施する。
• 日本におけるプロジェクトで利用可能な補助金・インセンティブプログラム等の申請
  パッケージを社内関係者と協力して作成・提出し、承認を得るために当該当局とのフォローアップ対応を実施する。
• 省庁・政府機関・自治体・その他のセクターのステークホルダーとのミーティングやフォーラムに参加する。また、現地の法規制によって義務付けられている、あるいは当社のプロジェクトを円滑に実施する目的でビジネス慣習上で必要となる、これらの関係者やその他の関係者とのエンゲージメントをリードし、当該ローカルインサイトに関する情報を経営陣や他地域のチームと適宜共有する。

Job Description

The position reports to the Senior Director of Business Development Asia / General Manager, Japan.

• Monitor and conduct a thorough analysis of both existing and future government policies,
  subsidy programs, and incentives from relevant authorities, such as METI, MLIT, MOE,
  JOGMEC and NEDO etc.,for execution of the Company's business model.:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with focal point among government officials, agencies, and municipalities to ensure timely and efficient access to information, developing channels and facilitating high-level meetings between the parties as and when required:
• Compile comprehensive reports and presentations for the management and team update, detailing trends and specifics in policies, subsidy programs, and incentives relevant to any segment of the company’s value chain, with a focus on timely delivery and alignment with the company’s strategic planning and business implementation:
• Collaborate with other internal/external professionals to identify and incorporate relevant
• assumptions into the company's business model and run for scenario analysis:
• Prepare and submit application package for the identified subsidies/incentive program available in Japan, and conduct follow-up correspondences with the respective authorities to obtain approval:
• Participate in meetings and forums with government entities, agencies, municipalities, and other sector stakeholders, while also leading engagement with these and additional parties as mandated by local laws and regulations and/or required for smooth implementation of the company’s business, sharing memos around local insights and progresses with management and/or team from other regions.

応募資格等
東京または東京近郊に居住しており、下記の条件に該当する方。

• 行政学、政治学、経営学、法学、またはその他の学士号(修士は優遇)。
• 以下のいずれかのエネルギートランジションに関わるセクターにおける専門知識(最低 3~5 年程度の経験を有すること) 。
   水素やアンモニアのサプライチェーンに関わるもの。
   または、太陽光・風力・その他の非在来型のエネルギー源等の所謂グリーンインフラ開発に関わるもの。
   または、火力・水力・化学・工業ガス・石油ガス産業に関わるもの。
• 会社のビジネスモデルに関する分野における政府・省庁の意思決定や法規制の導入プロセス、関連法規制、補助金/インセンティブに対する構造的な理解。
• 再生可能エネルギー証書、長期脱炭素電源オークション、あるいはカーボンプライシング市場を含むがこれに限定されない国内のエネルギー市場と脱炭素化関連の機会・課題・展望に関する包括的な知識。
• エクセル(ピボットテーブル、複雑な関数、データ分析ツール等を含む)を使用し、ビジネスモデル分析を通じたビジネス予測やシナリオを実行するためのモデリングの一定のスキルおよび経験。
• 国際的な環境における分析能力、コミュニケーション能力、交渉能力。
• 柔軟性と粘り強さを発揮し、自立的かつ能動的に仕事をする能力。
• ネイティブレベルの日本語力とビジネスレベルの英語力(読み書き)。
• (会社に求められた場合)国内、および必要に応じて海外への出張への対応。

Qualification & Skill
The above position requires both legal residency and physical presence in greater Tokyo area

• Bachelor's degree in public administration, political science, business management or another related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Solid expertise in the renewable and energy transition industry with minimum of 3-5 years'
  experience
  ⮚ in the hydrogen or ammonia supply chain industry,
  ⮚ or in green infrastructure development such as solar, wind and other non-conventional
  sources of energy
  ⮚ or thermal power, water, chemical, industrial gasses or oil & gas industries
• Strong understanding of Japanese government structure, regulatory processes, key legislation and subsidy/incentive program within the company’s business sector:
• Comprehensive knowledge of local energy market and decarbonization related opportunities,
  including, but not limited to, renewable energy certificate, long-term decarbonization power source auction, and carbon pricing market:
• Solid business modeling skill and experience with MS excel (including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data analysis tools etc.), for detailed model analysis and running business
  forecasts and scenarios:
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills in a multicultural environment:
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating resilience and flexibility:
• Native proficiency in Japanese and business-level in English, both written and verbal:
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and, if required, internationally.
