GMO Payment Services, Inc. provides credit transfer type deferred payment services to companies operating EC sites.
Although the diffusion of EC in Japan lags behind that of other countries, the Japanese EC market continues to grow across all industries, and high growth is expected in the BNPL (Buy Now Pay Later) field as well. In addition to our existing "GMO Gopayment" and "GMO Kakepayment" services, they will launch a new BNPL (Buy Now Pay Later, post-payment settlement) service this fiscal year.
In addition, they have launched a co-brand with Sumitomo Mitsui Card Co., Ltd. to provide unprecedented services and aim to be the No. 1 BNPL service in Japan.

In this position, you will be responsible for the promotion of data utilization to discover more insights and support business growth as the scope of data utilization expands with business expansion.

◆Responsibilities
◇Credit services
◇Data analysis related to credit accuracy and fraud detection
◇Understanding of deferred payment services, discovery of new insights, and their implementation
◇Propose data-driven measures and reporting
◇Data analysis of issues, solution proposals, project participation, etc. in collaboration with sales and business planning

Specifically, you will be responsible for credit operations, data analysis related to credit accuracy and fraud detection, AI model development, and reporting to support business decision making. In addition, you will work with sales, business planning, systems, and other related departments to solve business issues together, and you may also participate in new projects as a data specialist. This is a position where you will be able to take on new challenges and gain diverse experience in the use of data while utilizing your existing skills and experience.
