Job Description 

Led by Yoko Matsuoka, an executive officer at Panasonic Holdings Corporation and an AI pioneer who has held key positions at Google, Apple, and other tech companies, the company is a wellbeing company that helps busy families prioritize the happiness of the whole family and spend time with each other. Japanese families today are under pressure to juggle work, family, and childcare all at the same time.
While the development of information technology has made family life more convenient, it has also created new tasks. In addition to the common household chores such as cooking, laundry, and cleaning, families with children are kept busy every day with a variety of other tasks (to-dos) that are not always apparent to the naked eye.
The company was born from the idea of "creating a new style of mutual support for families living in the present". The company aims to "foster a new lifestyle culture in which people can rely on each other" by providing a new solution: a family concierge service. 

●Recruitment Background
This September marks the first anniversary of the launch of "Yohana Membership" in Japan. Targeting working couples who are busy 24 hours a day with multiple roles such as child-rearing, housework, and work, it is a next-generation concierge service that provides support for various tasks so that they can be kinder to their families and themselves, and maintain a relaxed mindset.

Since this service is mainly an app-based service, the expansion of the service will require more dynamic and timely implementation into the system, which led to the recruitment of this position.

●Your Role
You will be responsible for the development of marketing pages including LPs in the front-end area of the service, as well as improving the web application used by users in accordance with local needs. The web application is being developed in cooperation with the U.S., and you will be expected to communicate with the engineers in the U.S. when making improvements.

●Responsibilities
Working closely with the marketing team in Japan and the senior engineers in Silicon Valley, the team will contribute to the expansion of the service in Japan through the following activities in the front-end area of the service.

・Implement marketing initiatives on public marketing pages and e-commerce stores (e.g. Yohana.jp) through web application modifications
・Work to improve web applications to increase the efficiency of internal business processes

Required Skills

【Required】
・Experience (2-3+ years) developing web applications using React
・Knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript programming languages
・Ability to develop maintainable, scalable, and performant software
・Ability to write code that is automatically tested by testing frameworks
・Ability to work with cross-functional team members to translate and evolve product requirements into functional software features
・Ability to foresee the technical challenges of implementing new software features and the opportunities presented by web technologies
・Business level English proficiency

【Preferred】
・Experience developing consumer web applications
・Experience with Next.js or other SSR frameworks
・Experience working on full stack development or developing back-end cloud services
・Experience supporting e-commerce purchasing flows in web applications or back-end cloud services
・Basic knowledge of Kotlin/Java
・Experience with Protocol Buffers and gRPC
