CORE ELEMENTS RELATED TO THIS ROLE:
Strong ESG data management
1.Should have a strong understanding of ESG data and be able to effectively collect, analyze, and interpret it. This involves identifying relevant ESG metrics, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, and implementing robust data management systems.
2.Effective partnership and communication with SMEs : Engage SMEs, who handle all imperative-related metrics and operations in different functions at an global-level.
3.Reporting and Disclosure: Transparent reporting and disclosure of ESG performance is crucial for building trust and credibility. A manager should play a critical role supporting accurate and timely reporting, following recognized frameworks such as WEF and Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) we have engaged at am company-level.
Stakeholders’ management and value creation
1.Engage with various stakeholders, such as intuitional investors, employees, customers, is crucial for effective ESG management. A manager should support strategies to communicate ESG initiatives, address concerns, and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
2.Focus on creating long-term value through ESG initiatives. This includes identifying opportunities for innovation, cost savings, and revenue generation that align with sustainability goals.
Flexibility and agility on continuous improvement of ESG data
1.Capable of understanding ESG data expectation and its requirements, which is still evolving given ESG world outside. Need capability to catch outside 2.ESG perspective and support delivering right insights and key takek aways to Takeda’s sustainability strategy
ESG management is an ongoing process, and a manager should continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of ESG initiatives. This involves conducting regular assessments, benchmarking against industry peers, and implementing improvements based on feedback and lessons learned.
3.Be open and explore digital solution into ESG data management for accuracy and transparency. The data should be assured by the third party, which require all the data to be documented and repeatable for assurance.

9.Bachelor’s (or Graduate preferred) degree in Sciences, Business, Sustainability, or other relevant areas.
