Job Description

Responsibilities: 

  • Provide guidance, training, and direction to business partners in the implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and organizational standards.
  • Conduct investigations into employee relations matters, analyze organizational well-being issues, and collaborate with HR leadership to develop and execute strategies to address areas of concern.
  • Gather and present data on employee relations cases to identify organizational needs and assist HR leadership in identifying underlying issues affecting overall organizational health.
  • Offer direct coaching and consultation to leaders and managers to enhance organizational capabilities.
  • Serve as a resource for managers and employees on a wide range of human resources topics, directing them to relevant tools and resources.
  • Provide counseling and guidance to employees, facilitate communication, and assist in resolving conflicts that impact employee engagement.
  • Assist in the implementation of the organization's performance management process by coaching, educating, and offering feedback.
  • Support the development and execution of a comprehensive workforce and succession plan, including talent attraction, while evaluating the effectiveness of these efforts and making necessary improvements. Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees.
  • Maintain, generate, and analyze reports related to employees, such as Census data, Succession Planning, and Wage & Hour administration, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Stay informed about all government and local labor laws and wage and hour regulations.
  • Proactively provide HR tools and resources to associates.
  • Address general inquiries from associates, including requests for letters of employment, confirmation of earnings, and employment verifications.
  • Ensure proper documentation in employee files and maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS.
  • Oversee the HR section of the policy and procedure manual, recommending and making adaptations as needed.
  • Coordinate and facilitate HR operations, making recommendations for improved effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Conduct employee surveys to assess culture and engagement among associates.
  • Undertake additional duties and projects as required to support the organization's goals and objectives.
