Purpose: (Summary)

This position is responsible to apply professional expertise to lead day to day activities of risk and contract management to fulfil corporate objectives. Contract and change management shall be strengthened by putting efforts to enhance 1) Sophisticated and Integrated approach to commercial and contractual matters with Client, Subcontractor, Vendor, Partner, 2) Support Change Management Group from contract point of view and 3) Consolidate and feed-back know-how and lessons/learned to be applied to future project.

2) チェンジマネジメントグループを契約面からサポート　

3) ノウハウや得た知識をまとめ、フィードバックを行い、今後のプロジェクトに反映させる

Core Accountabilities / Responsibilities

1. Establish a contract management program, which includes contract management responsibilities and required actions / notices
2. Support the Project Director and Deputy Project Director for the management of all Contractual correspondence and exchanges with COMPANY
3. Establish a contractual Management of Change procedure in coordination with the Project Controls & Risks Manager
4. Detect potential Changes and gather supporting documents and evidences to justify CONTRACTOR’s assertion and establishes logics to get the Change approved in line with CONTRACTOR’s intention
5. Support the negotiation with COMPANY of the Changes, when necessary
6. Ensure that wherever applicable, the Subcontracts and Purchase Orders contain appropriate flow-down of the AGREEMENT requirements and its terms, throughout the project duration
7. Support the Subcontracting Manager to monitor Subcontractors’ claims and detect potential claims from Subcontractors and establish strategy to quantify the claims so as to avoid exposure
8. Assist the Project Director, Deputy Project Director and the Project Controls & Risks Manager in all matters related to contractual risk mitigation vis-à-vis all the parties involved in the PROJECT
9. Ensure the indoctrination of the project team in developing a positive and fair attitude towards meeting the contractual obligations
10. Support the Project Controls & Risks Manager and Cost Control Manager for identification and preparation of Change Orders.
11. Prepare letters to COMPANY for contract and commercial matters.
12. Coordinate with persons in charge in project organization and prepare a proposal to Mangers.
13. Report lessons and learned and others to Section Leader of Contract Management Sec. at our client as required.

4. 潜在する変更点を見つけ出し、業者の主張を認めるための補足資料や 証明を収集し、業者の意図に沿った変更が承認されるよう、論理的に確立
5. 必要に応じて、変更に関する会社との交渉をサポート
6. 該当する場合においては、プロジェクト期間中、請負契約及び発注書に契約の要件およびその条件が適切に反映されていることを確認
7. 請負業者の要求を把握し、請負業者からの潜在的な要求を見つけ出し、リスクを回避するために要求を数値化する戦略を立て、請負業者マネージャーをサポート
8. プロジェクトの全ての関係者に対する契約上のリスク軽減に関する全ての事項について、プロジェクトディレクター、副プロジェクトディレクター、プロジェクトコントロール＆リスクマネージャーをアシスト
9. 契約上の義務の履行に対して積極的で公平な姿勢を身につけるよう、プロジェクトチームの教化を徹底
10. 変更指示の確認と準備のため、プロジェクトコントロール＆リスクマネージャーとコストコントロールマネージャーをサポート
11. 契約や商取引に関する会社への文書作成
12. プロジェクト組織の担当者と調整し、マネージャーへの提案書を作成
13. 必要に応じ、顧客企業の契約管理課の課長に得た知識や学びを報告

Technical Knowledge / Skills / Competencies (Limit to the top 10 maximum)

1. Incumbent must demonstrate contract and construction subcontract management experience in planning, execution and completion.
2. Capable to coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders involved in project and corporate organization.
3. Ability to influence and motivate others for continuous process improvement
4. Familiar with international best practice in risk and contract management.
5. Knowledge of business application like MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel including IT literacy.
6. Fluent in English in speaking, reading and writing.

Qualifications / Certifications

Essential :

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field

Preferred :

- Registered engineer with valid Professional Engineering certification body
- Master’s Degree
- MBA certificate

Minimum Years of Relevant Experience:

10+ years of work experience in oil and gas field with minimum 5 years of work experience in contacting work with client (IOC. NOC) / subcontract work for construction.
