Piping Engineer/配管設計技師

Purpose: (Summary)

This position is responsible to apply professional expertise to lead day to day activities of piping engineering, ensuring safe, operability, maintainability, constructability and cost effective designs are being produced for project delivery and department operation.

Core Accountabilities / Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall execution and control on piping engineering for assigned projects.
• Organize and manage all aspects of the workload of a team of piping discipline engineers and designers within the parameters of a project schedule.
• Lead the piping design works based on the project schedule, scope and budget. To manage engineering and construction information in/out and finalize it along the project schedule.
• Conduct progress control and reporting to management for piping engineering job execution.
• Lead all piping engineering related design review meetings such as deliverable review meeting, 3D model review.
• Control piping material quantity and construction work volume for piping. Monitor and report change in quantities based on management of change procedure.

• プロジェクトスケジュール、対応範囲、予算に基づいた配管設計作業のリード。エンジニアリングおよび建設情報の入出力を管理し、プロジェクトのスケジュールに沿った最終確認を業務を行う。
• 業務遂行の進捗管理と関係者への報告。
• 成果物レビュー会議、3D モデルレビューなど、すべての配管工学関連の設計レビュー会議の主導。
• 配管材料の量と配管の施工量管理。変更手順の管理に基づいた数量変更の監視と報告

Technical Knowledge / Skills / Competencies

• Knowledge of engineering design codes (e.g. ASME, ASTM), specifications and latest piping design and analytical techniques and software is essential.
• Knowledge and skills of IT tools like MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Navisworks and preferably E3D, Caesar II, AutoPIPE, MS Access.
• Comprehensive knowledge of piping engineering activities, deliverables and work flow related to, such as, Pipe Routing Study, Piping Standard Drawings, Service Class, Line List, MTO, 3D Model Reviews, Loading Data, Nozzle Orientation Drawings, General Assembly Drawings, Isometric Drawings, Special Pipe Support Drawings.
• Comprehensive knowledge of piping construction activities, workflow and construction work volume assessment.
• Fluent in English in speaking, reading and writing.

Qualifications / Certifications

Bachelor degree in Engineering

Minimum Years of Relevant Experience:

10 years for piping engineering of Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Environmental and New energies industries including experiences for plot plan engineering.

• パイプ ルーティング スタディ、配管標準図面、サービス クラス、ライン リスト、MTO、3D モデル レビュー、データのロード、ノズル方向図、一般組立図などに関連する配管エンジニアリング活動、成果物、およびワークフローに関する包括的な知識 、アイソメ図、特殊パイプサポート図の作成経験
• 配管工事活動、ワークフロー、工事量評価に関する総合的な知識と理解

• チームメンバーとの信頼を作り、チームリードができる
• プロジェクトに関与する社内外関係者との調整経験
• 自発的に行動し、最小限の監督の下で作業できる。適切な決定をしたり、問題を分析し、割り当てられたプロジェクトに集中的な解決策を提供することができる。
• 理系（工学部または関連した学部）出身者
