Calligaris Japan was established in 2005 as the Japanese branch of the world-renowned Italian furniture brand "Calligaris." The story of Calligaris began in 1923 in Manzano, a small town near Udine in northeastern Italy, with a single chair called "Marocca," crafted by Antonio Calligaris. This chair featured a traditional wooden frame with a hand-woven straw seat. Over the past century, the company has continuously evolved through relentless innovation in both design and technology. Today, it has grown into a global powerhouse with a presence in over 100 countries and hundreds of retail locations worldwide.
