Vicc Ltd. is a consulting firm that delivers optimization across the entire construction project lifecycle through BIM-centered information technologies.

We go beyond simply creating BIM data. By spanning all phases—design, construction, and facility management—we build an “information infrastructure” that supports project decision-making. In an industry still heavily reliant on fragmented processes and individual judgment, our role is to implement rational, data-driven decision-making.

Vicc’s strengths can be summarized in three key areas:

1. Advanced BIM production capabilities capable of handling complex geometries and high-level design
2. Global-standard BIM management based on EIR and BEP
3. Consulting expertise that optimizes entire projects from the owner’s perspective

In particular, projects led by overseas clients—such as data center developments—require strict BIM operations based on international standards. Only a limited number of firms in Japan can meet these requirements. Vicc is one of the few companies capable of providing end-to-end support, from interpreting EIR to developing BEP and driving project execution.

In complex architectural projects, such as those related to international expos, we excel at constructing data that bridges design intent with construction and fabrication without compromise. We are highly regarded as a key player connecting design and production.

Furthermore, we have welcomed Syntegrate GK—a company with roots as a global BIM firm—into our group, establishing a robust collaborative framework. This partnership allows us to deliver advanced services by fusing international-standard expertise with practical execution tailored to the Japanese market. We also possess an extensive track record in supporting BIM implementation for major domestic corporations and infrastructure-related enterprises.

Our CEO, Kenji Watanabe, is recognized as a leader in construction DX, serving as a lecturer at Keio University Graduate School and being selected as one of Nikkei Architecture’s “Top 10 Architects.”

At Vicc, “using BIM” is not the goal.
Our mission is to transform the very nature of construction projects through BIM.

This means working with all stakeholders—owners, designers, contractors, specialty subcontractors, and manufacturers—while maintaining a holistic view of the project and directly contributing to its optimization.

Another defining feature is the opportunity to learn global-standard BIM management and project execution in practice, under the guidance of experienced professionals with international project backgrounds. Opportunities to engage in internationally aligned BIM operations while based in Japan remain extremely limited.

While in-house BIM teams within design firms or contractors often focus on “local optimization,” Vicc operates in a unique position where we directly engage in cross-disciplinary, “global optimization.”
