SHODA, a technology group that opens the future, continues to evolve into a world-class brand.

Since 1926, SHODA has contributed to the development of the industry through its original idea and product development through numerous patented technologies.
In the entrance lobby of the head office, the first CNC router developed by SHODA in Japan in 1968 is exhibited. This machine revolutionized the world’s production system.
SHODA then made a management decision to become a specialized manufacturer of CNC routers. Specializing in NC routers and concentrating management resources, we were able to continuously develop innovative new products with the world’s highest standards.
As a result, SHODA’s CNC routers were highly evaluated worldwide, and the SHODA brand was widely used overseas, including the United States, Europe, and Asia.

In 2000, a factory was established in Shanghai as an overseas production base in order to increase cost competitiveness in anticipation of the Chinese market. This Shanghai factory mainly produces CNC routers for China, Southeast Asia, and Japan.

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT DIVISION

Our designers use the most advanced 3D software to design machines that suit the needs of our customers from the point of view of speed, reliability, and suitability.

QUALITY CONTROL DIVISION

Each of the machine’s components is precisely examined utilizing a three-dimensional Coordinate Measuring Machine to ensure comprehensive quality control. The examination of static precision measurements such as position and repeat accuracies is conducted with a high-precision laser. Dynamic precisions, such as roundness, is examined with specialized measuring machines.

PRODUCTION DIVISION

A very clean factory specializing in assembly. Each unit is carefully assembled from the customer’s perspective.
SHODA is one of the few CNC router manufacturers that can develop and manufacture the spindle (Head) that is the heart of the CNC router. Therefore, we can propose a CNC router with higher added value.
