Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior Game Editor for a company dedicated to creating accessible and enjoyable gaming experiences through precise language editing and quality control of trading card game materials. This role offers the opportunity to lead a team of editors and shape the presentation and technical wording of new card sets in Japanese, balancing innovation with player understanding. The position is based in Tokyo and includes collaboration with creative and gameplay teams to ensure high standards in gameplay, rules accuracy, and clarity.

主な責任:

• 日本語カードテキストの編集チームおよびルールマネージャーをリードする
• カードおよびパッケージの最終文言を承認する
• カードテキストがゲームプレイおよびプレイヤー体験の基準に準拠していることを保証する
• コンテンツ、テキストの誤り、レイアウトの不整合の校正をリードする
• クリエイティブチームと協力してカード名およびフレーバーテキストを調整する
• 将来のカードテキストのワークフローおよびリソース配分を計画・最適化する
• ゲームデザイナーと連携して新しいゲームメカニクスを洗練する
• 編集プロセスのワークフロードキュメントを維持・拡充する
• 複数の編集プロジェクトを管理し、部門横断チームを調整する

要件:

• 編集およびコミュニケーションのための日本語と英語に堪能
• プロジェクトリーダーシップを伴う3年以上の編集またはゲームライティング経験
• コンテンツ編集、校正、文法、句読点の専門知識
• ゲームコンテンツのクリエイティブなテキスト開発経験
• 複数のタスク、チーム、プロジェクトを同時に管理する能力
• レイアウト校正のためのAdobe InDesignおよびAcrobatの使用経験
• ワークフローおよびプロジェクト管理のためのSmartsheetまたはConfluenceの使用経験
• トレーディングカードゲームまたは類似のゲームメカニクスに関する知識
• スケジューリングおよびリソース最適化のための優れた組織能力
• 多様でクロスファンクショナルなチーム内でリードおよび協力する能力
