A leading energy company in Japan is seeking an experienced Head of Data & AI Strategy to lead its enterprise-wide data transformation, artificial intelligence strategy, and data governance initiatives.

In this executive leadership position, you will define and execute the organization's enterprise data and AI strategy, establish a unified data platform, and develop scalable data management capabilities that support business growth, operational efficiency, and innovation.

• Over 10 years of professional experience, with substantial expertise in enterprise data strategy, data management, analytics, or digital transformation.
• Proven experience developing and implementing enterprise-wide data strategies, data transformation initiatives, or data management programs.
• Strong technical knowledge of enterprise data platforms, data warehouses, data lakes, cloud infrastructure, and modern data architecture.
• Practical experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, data integration, and scalable data infrastructure.
• Hands-on expertise in data governance, data quality management, information security, and privacy compliance.
• Understanding of AI governance, responsible AI usage, and enterprise AI adoption frameworks.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary data engineering, data management, analytics, or platform teams.
