Job Descriptions

• Propose the best cutting tools and tooling strategies prior to CAM program creation, considering material, machine capability, cycle time, tool life, and cost.

• Create, release, and maintain tool assemblies, tool lists,and tooling data in the Tool Management System (TMS).

• Use Zoller tool pre-setter to measure and verify tool assemblies according to TMS specifications.

• Audit tooling setups, investigate non-compliance, and implement corrective actions.

• Support tool crib & machinist/supervisor on correct tooling usage and setup.

• Drive tooling standardization, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing or equivalent.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in cutting tools engineering & management.

• Strong knowledge of cutting tools, inserts, tool holders, shrink-fit systems, and work-holding principles.

• Hands-on experience with Zoller tool pre-setter, ZollerTool Management Systems (TMS), Powershrink Fit Machine and tool inventory systems.

• Solid understanding of CNC machining processes and shop floor operations.
