JAC's client, a professional company, is looking for a Structural Drafter position (All Levels: Junior/Senior).

Working Location: Cong Hoa Street, Bay Hien ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

1. Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise structural drawings and shop drawings using Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM-supporting software, including detailed drawings, plans, sections, and reinforcement layouts for civil and industrial projects according to technical guidelines and standards.

• Coordinate closely with Structural Engineers and relevant departments to ensure the accuracy, clarity, consistency, and timely completion of design documentation.

• Check and review drawings, identify technical errors, and update design changes according to project requirements before official issuance.

Junior:

• Learn and actively participate in internal training on drafting processes, technical standards, and the company's specialized software.

Senior:

• Take the lead in preparing project documentation.

• Propose technical solutions and provide guidance and support to Junior Drafters.

• Participate in sharing knowledge and training on working processes.

1. Job requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Construction, Structural Engineering, Architecture or other related technical fields. 

Experience

• Junior Level: 2–3 years of experience.

• Senior Level: At least 3–5 years of experience in structural drafting for civil and industrial projects.

• For Senior candidates, experience working on projects following Australian Standards is preferred.

• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD, with Revit accounting for approximately 80% of the work.

• Experience or knowledge of BIM processes and structural calculation software is preferred.

• Ability to read and understand drawings in English.

• Good technical thinking and ability to accurately read and understand architectural and structural drawings.

• Able to work under pressure.

• Willing to work overtime when required.

• Languages: Basic English communication and document-reading skills for work are an advantage.
