Company and Job Overview

A newly established manufacturing company in Hanoi is seeking a Finance Controller to lead financial planning, business controlling, cost management, and reporting activities.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities to support business objectives.

• Prepare and analyze monthly management reports, financial performance reports, and variance analysis.

• Monitor manufacturing costs, inventory movements, and operational expenses to improve profitability and efficiency.

• Partner with production and operational teams to establish KPIs and identify cost optimization opportunities.

• Develop and maintain effective financial controls, policies, and reporting procedures.

• Support strategic planning, investment evaluation, and management decision-making through financial analysis.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.

• Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and external stakeholders when required.

• Drive continuous improvement of finance processes, systems, and reporting capabilities.

• Lead, coach, and develop finance team members to achieve business objectives.

Job Requirements

Must-Have

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, or a related field.

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, auditing, or financial controlling, including at least 3 years of experience as a Finance Controller supporting manufacturing or factory operations.

• Strong knowledge of management accounting, costing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

• Solid understanding of manufacturing finance, inventory management, and factory cost structures.

• Experience in preparing management reports and supporting business decision-making.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering skills.

• Good command of English for business communication and reporting.

• Proactive, hands-on, and capable of working independently in a fast-growing environment.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience supporting factory setup, plant expansion, or greenfield manufacturing projects.

• Background in Big 4 firms, consulting firms, or multinational manufacturing companies.

• Experience implementing ERP systems, financial controls, or process improvement initiatives.

• Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent are advantageous.
