A massive global luxury automobile company is seeking one person to join its growing legal team in Japan.

This is an exciting role within the legal team of a major luxury automobile company with a long-established presence and strong brand recognition in Japan. You will be operating the legal department of the company's brands in the Japan market, with business English used sometimes for communications with global. The company is on a strong growth trajectory and is expanding its legal function to keep pace with increasing market share.

This role suits a legal professional who wants broad, hands-on exposure, rather than a narrow specialist track - within a well-known luxury automobile brand environment.

We are looking for a candidate with:

• At least 5 years of experience in the legal department in-house or law firm
• Broad working knowledge of Japanese corporate law
• Business-level English and native-level Japanese, written and spoken

Key Responsibilities

• Review, draft and negotiate legal matters, contracts, and general legal operations
• Hands-on working style in the legal function
• Manage corporate documentation and registration across all group companies
• Willingness to learn new legal matters and improve
