Mission Title

Production Quality Controller

Mission Description

• Mission focused on product and process quality within the Vehicle Preparation Center (VPC) located in Toyohashi, Japan.

• Lead KPI reviews with manufacturing plants: provide defect evidence, discuss corrective action plans, breakpoints, etc.

• Ensure compliance with quality standards within the VPC and lead reviews with suppliers.
• Review customer claims and follow up action plans within VPC
• Improve quality control efficiency at VPC while balancing time, cost, and customer satisfaction.
• Support production in finding solutions to reduce output lead time
• Support quality gate activities at VPC and the launch of quality campaigns.
• Support operator training.
• Support controls along the supply chain (from factory to customer).
• Provide transversal support with other teams

Required Qualities

• English and Japanese fluency are essential for the position. French language is also requested for communication with manufacturing plants in Europe.
• Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability (short deadlines, cross‑functional topics).
• Excellent communication skills are important to this role
• Interest in the automotive industry.

Technical Skills

• Mastery of office tools (Excel, PowerPoint) is required
• Experience in product and/or process quality is preferred.
• Programming skills (VBA, application development) are a plus.

Degree: Graduate Engineering School

Justification

This position will be the interface between the global team (manufacturing plants, project teams, suppliers, etc.)  and the local team (VPC suppliers, product team, aftersales, etc.) to support all quality-related activities of the VPC.
