PR/120540 | CNC (Wire Cut) Engineering Supervisor

Location: Laem Chabang, Chonburi

Budget: Total Package 40,000 - 55,000 THB/Month

1. Operate CNC and Specialized Machinery

• Operate CNC Machining Centers, setting up machines according to drawings and assigned programs.

• Adjust parameters and select tools appropriate to the material and type of work.

• Inspect workpiece dimensions and quality to ensure they meet standards.

2. Operate EDM Wire Cut & Laser Welding Machines

• Set up machines and select materials suitable for each job.

• Inspect dimensions, finish, and accuracy of workpieces after cutting.

3. Material Hardness Testing

• Use a Hardness Tester to verify the hardness properties of workpieces.

• Record test results and report them to supervisors and relevant departments.

4. Machine Care and Maintenance

• Perform daily machine condition checks and report any issues.

• Carry out work according to the Preventive Maintenance plan.

• Clean and maintain machines to keep them ready for operation.

5. Program Design and Development

• Design and develop programs for Machining Center, Wire Cut, EDM, and other machines.

• Analyze drawings or part designs to determine appropriate manufacturing processes.

• Select cutting tools and cutting conditions suitable for the machine and material.

• Test and refine programs so that workpieces meet specifications.

• Communicate and coordinate with the U.S. engineering team on program design and development.

6. Technical and Production Support

• Provide technical advice and guidance to engineers and technicians.

• Troubleshoot machine-related problems arising during production.

• Prepare technical documentation such as CNC programs, production reports, and work instructions.

• Support process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and lower costs.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

  
  
  Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing/Production Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

• At least 3-5 years of experience in CNC programming and operation.

• Proficient in CAD/CAM software such as Mastercam, SolidCAM, NX, Fusion 360, or similar.

• Knowledge of engineering materials and machining processes.

• Able to read and interpret drawings and engineering plans accurately.

• Good command of English communication. (Coordinate with oversea team)

• Able to work every other Saturday. (2 Sat per month)
